About Dawn
Dawn L. Sievers teaches seventh-grade English and seventh- through twelfth-grade Spanish and art at Power Schools in Power, Montana, and spends countless hours tutoring after school. Brain research, teaching writing, and art integration are among her passions.
She pushes students to see themselves as capable members of society, whatever their age, background, or location. Her classroom reaches beyond its walls through museum trips, art shows, and educational tours in the U.S. and abroad, and when students can’t travel, she brings the world to them through guest speakers. Each year she works with students, teachers, and neighbors to host the Power Community Art Show.
